A man has been arrested for opening fire about a block from Texas A&M University campus. The shooter wounded several people on the Texas A&M campus including a few police offers.

The Associated Press is reporting that the gunman killed at least one law enforcement officer and one civilian. Assistant Chief Scott McCollum says the gunman also was shot Monday before being taken into custody.

There is currently no information on who the gunman is or what his motives are.

CNN reports that “Officer Jon Agnew with the Bryan Police Department said at least one civilian had been injured. Bryan is adjacent to College Station”.

Not much is known about this Monday afternoon shooting but the details are slowly being revealed.
