Justin Bieber’s wild child antics may have finally caught up with him. The 19-year-old pop star has been arrested for drag racing and a DUI in Miami Beach early Thursday morning, police informed NBC News. Bieber was under the influence of drugs (he reportedly failed a sobriety test) and was confused but compliant when arrested at 4:30 a.m., Miami Beach Police Chief Raymond Martinez stated to the Miami Herald.

When he was stopped, he was driving in a rented yellow Lamborghini and showed symptoms of someone who is intoxicated or on drugs. Bieber was stopped at Pine Tree Drive and 26th St. in Miami, in what seemed to be a fairly residential neighborhood. His associates blocked off local roads to make a drag strip for him, according to The Herald.

Bieber is anticipated to be booked later this morning, according to police. He has been charged with a DUI, resisting arrest without violence, and for driving with an expired driver’s license of over six months – from Georgia.

The arrest is just the most recent in a string of scandals related to the Biebs. Last week, a dozen officers searched the pop star’s California household, searching for proof that would connect him to an egging occurrence, which caused around $20,000 in damages to a neighbor’s home. If you or a loved one are struggling with substance abuse or addiction, please call toll free 1-800-951-6135.
